Instances of Scientific Misconduct | Marc Hauser
Marc Hauser
Marc Hauser, a former professor of psychology, organismic and evolutionary biology, and biological anthropology at Harvard University, retracted one paper. He was accused of falsifying data when two of his co-authors (a student and a research assistant) reanalyzed data and saw something amiss. The National Institutes of Health concluded that Dr. Hauser had committed research misconduct in use of funds from four federal grants.
